Face-off. The referee is about to release the puck.

Move your mouse or drag on the table — your hand is the mallet.

Difficulty

In a reflex game a difficulty is a reaction time, not an aim error. These are the opponent's, measured: it never sees the puck as it is, only as it was.

The referee

Every violation in the USAA rulebook, with the rule that forbids it and the rule that sets its penalty. Press one and watch what the referee does — the penalties are not all the same, and that is the point.

Air Hockey — an independent reimplementation. Air hockey was invented at Brunswick Billiards in 1969–1972 by Phil Crossman, Bob Lemieux and Brad Baldwin, and patented by Brunswick Corporation (US 3,773,325 and US 3,927,885, priority 1971). This app is not affiliated with Brunswick, with Gold Standard Games, with Valley-Dynamo or with the United States Air Hockey Association. It is refereed by the USAA Air Hockey Rules of Play (rev. 03/03/2020), cited by rule number throughout. See CREDITS.txt for every source and every reconstruction, and llms.txt for the short version.
